Opinion about violent film and Drivers Behavior

Full Metal Jacket
This film was produced in 1987, it is about a group of marines in the Vietnam War.  It narrates their rude training and then their misfortunes in the battle field. The film is a true picture of the harshness and cruelties of war, in which many people suffer and even fight for unknown motives that they can't understand. I think this movie is very violent, and definitely it is not apt for children, because I consider that it is necessary to have a well developed criterion for comprehending the complexity of human behavior. This criterion is developed through personal experience and the teachings from adults and peers.  For adults this thought-provoking film helps to take a critical attitude about social and political conflicts.
In conclusion, I consider that the context in which we develop is more influential in our predisposition to violence, than our exposition to violent films and cartoons during our infancy.

Driver behavior and crashes risk
The increasing traffic congestion on roadways provokes stress in drivers, this results in an increase in risky driving behavior. Risky driving acts include excessive speed, tailgating, failure to signal a lane change, etc. The best advice is to avoid engaging in conflict with other drivers and to allow others to merge.
The consequences of a risky driving behavior could be catastrophic, from damaged vehicles to loss of human lives. For that, it is very important to improve safety rules and educate drivers in order to prevent crashes.
In my opinion the human factor is the responsible for most of the accidents, more than mechanical failures. Many of these conducts are associated to irresponsible behavior, like a drunk driver, and a lack of respect for the traffic rules. In many occasions innocent people, have to pay the consequences of risky drivers. Then, it is recommendable to adopt a defensive driver’s behavior to diminish the crash risks.

For example, don't fall in provocations, maintain the calm in stressful situations, and be aware of transit and other driver’s signals. Finally and very important, avoid multitasks and distractions, like calling on the cell phone while driving. Maybe we can´t control the behavior of other drivers, but we can control our own behavior in order to protect ourselves and then to other people.
